FAQ

Who can order from Nova Peptides?

Anyone aged 21 or over, for laboratory research use only. You must be 21 or over to use this website.

What are these products for?

Laboratory research use only. They are not approved by any medicines agency and are not intended for human or animal consumption, or for diagnostic or therapeutic use. We cannot advise on the use of any product.

How are the products supplied?

Our peptides are supplied lyophilised in sealed vials, in boxes of ten vials of the same strength. Everything in the shop is sold by the box of ten vials. Strengths are chosen on each product page, and for peptides the price shown is for the full box.

Can I buy a single vial?

No. Everything in the shop is sold by the box of ten vials.

Can I get a certificate of analysis?

The stated purity is 99% or higher by HPLC. Batch, report date, purity, method and laboratory are published for the batches we hold reports for — see the Certificates page. The reports are not issued in our name, so we do not publish the documents themselves. Email info.novaresearchpept@proton.me with your order or batch number and we will request a copy for your batch.

How do I pay?

In cryptocurrency, through our payment processor, NOWPayments. At checkout you choose "Pay with crypto" or "Pay by card: buy crypto in your app". Your order page then shows the amount and the payment address, and it updates by itself once the payment arrives. Fees are extra: at least the amount shown must reach us. Prices are in euros; amounts in other currencies are approximate. New to paying in crypto? Read our step-by-step guide.

Can I pay by card?

Yes, in two steps. Choose "Pay by card: buy crypto in your app" at checkout. Then buy USDC on Polygon with your card in an app where you have your own account, such as Revolut, or your own crypto wallet (for example MetaMask) topped up with a card, and send it to the payment address on your order page. Fees are extra: at least the amount shown must reach us. The address belongs to our payment processor, NOWPayments; if your app asks who the recipient is, enter NOWPayments. We never see your card details. Our step-by-step guide shows each step.

What happens if I send the wrong amount?

Your order page shows the amount required. Fees are extra: at least the amount shown must reach us. If less arrives, the order is marked as underpaid and is not dispatched until the difference is paid. Your order is still open — contact us at info.novaresearchpept@proton.me with your order number and we will help you pay the difference. Please do not send another payment before you have heard from us. If you send more, we refund the difference.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery times vary by destination. Most orders arrive within 4–7 days.

How much is shipping?

A flat €25 per order to every destination, regardless of size. Some discount codes include free shipping.

During our Autumn Stacks offer (until 8 November 2026), shipping is free on orders of €600 or more after any discount.

Do you ship outside the EU?

Yes. We ship worldwide. Shipping is a flat €25 per order, wherever the order is going.

During our Autumn Stacks offer (until 8 November 2026), shipping is free on orders of €600 or more after any discount.

Can I return an order?

No. Our products are sealed laboratory materials and we do not accept returns. See our Shipping & Returns page for what to do if an order arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect.

Can I cancel an order?

Only before payment is confirmed. Once the payment has been confirmed the order goes into dispatch and cannot be cancelled.

How should the products be stored?

Lyophilised peptides are normally stored sealed, cold and away from light. Storage conditions are the responsibility of the receiving laboratory.

What does lyophilised mean?

Lyophilisation is freeze-drying: the peptide is frozen and the water removed under vacuum, leaving a dry cake or powder in the vial. It is done because a dry peptide is far more stable in transport and storage than one in solution.

How is a lyophilised vial reconstituted?

Let the vial reach room temperature first. Add the solvent slowly, running it down the inside wall of the vial rather than directly onto the powder, then leave it to dissolve and swirl gently. Do not shake. The volume you add sets the concentration — our reconstitution calculator works it out for you.

What is the difference between bacteriostatic and sterile water?

Bacteriostatic water is sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol added as a preservative, which is what allows more than one withdrawal from the same vial. Sterile water has no preservative. Which is appropriate is a decision for the receiving laboratory.

How should vials be stored before and after reconstitution?

Sealed and lyophilised, vials are normally kept at −20 °C and protected from light. After reconstitution the vial is kept at 2–8 °C, sealed and away from light. How long a reconstituted vial stays usable depends on the solvent, the storage and the handling in your own laboratory, and that assessment is yours to make.

How do I read a certificate of analysis?

The report states four things. Identity: which peptide it is, usually confirmed by mass spectrometry. Content: how much peptide the vial holds, by HPLC quantitation. Purity: the share of the main peak in the chromatogram, given as a percentage. Method: how it was measured, for example RP-HPLC at 214 nm. Batch and date tie the figures to a specific production run, not to the product in general.

Why is purity measured by HPLC at 214 nm?

Peptide bonds absorb ultraviolet light around 214 nm, so the detector sees the peptide backbone itself rather than only those residues with aromatic rings. A purity figure is the area of the main peak as a share of all peaks at that wavelength.

What is the difference between a batch and a lot?

A batch is one production run of the substance. A lot is a quantity packed and labelled from that run. One batch can be split into several lots, so two vials with different lot numbers may come from the same batch and share the same analysis. Our published analysis data is per batch.

What is net peptide content?

Net peptide content is how much of the powder is the peptide itself; the rest is counter-ions, residual water and salts left from synthesis and purification. Gross weight is everything in the vial. A stated strength refers to the peptide content unless the report says otherwise.
