How to pay

Paying by card or in cryptocurrency, step by step

Every payment is made in cryptocurrency, through our payment processor, NOWPayments. At checkout you choose Pay with crypto if you already have cryptocurrency, or Pay by card: buy crypto in your app if you want to use a card. This page takes you through both, from start to finish.

Which currencies we accept

You can pay with Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), the stablecoins USDT and USDC, and a long list of other cryptocurrencies. You choose the currency at checkout, where the full list is shown.

How it works

  1. Add products to your cart and go to checkout. Your order total is in euros; if you have chosen another currency, the euro total is shown next to it.
  2. Choose Pay with crypto, pick the cryptocurrency you want to pay with and place your order.
  3. The payment page opens. It shows the amount to send, the payment address and a QR code.
  4. Send that amount to that address from your wallet or exchange account, on the network shown on the payment page. Fees are extra: at least the amount shown must reach us.
  5. Your order page updates by itself once the payment has been confirmed on the blockchain. This can take from a few minutes to a few hours, depending on the currency.

The amount you pay

Your order total is fixed in euros at checkout and does not change. The amount in cryptocurrency is worked out when you place your order, using the exchange rate at that moment.

At least the amount shown must reach us. Fees are extra: most wallets and exchanges deduct a network or withdrawal fee from what you send, so add the fee on top. What counts is the amount that arrives, not the amount that leaves your account.

If too little arrives

If less than the full amount arrives, for example because of a fee or because the exchange rate moved, the order is marked as underpaid. Your order is still open — contact us at info.novaresearchpept@proton.me with your order number and we will help you pay the difference. If you send too much, we refund the difference.

Take your time

There is no rush. A payment stays open for seven days, so you have time to buy cryptocurrency first if you need to, and to check the amount and the address before you send. Keep the payment page open, or bookmark it, while you get ready.

While the payment is open, the amount in cryptocurrency is recalculated if the exchange rate moves. The payment page updates by itself, so send the amount it shows at the moment you pay.

After you have paid

The payment is confirmed automatically. You do not need to send us proof of payment. You receive a confirmation email once the payment is complete.

Paying by card

You cannot enter card details on our site. Instead you buy the cryptocurrency with your card yourself and send it to us. Choose Pay by card: buy crypto in your app at checkout. You need an app where you have your own account, such as Revolut, or your own crypto wallet (for example MetaMask) topped up with a card.

  1. Place your order. Your order page shows the amount in USDC on Polygon and the payment address.
  2. In your app, buy USDC on Polygon with your card. If the app charges a fee for sending, buy enough to cover it.
  3. Send it to the payment address on your order page, on the network shown there. Fees are extra: at least the amount shown must reach us. Copy and paste the address rather than typing it.
  4. Your order page updates by itself once the payment has arrived.

The payment address belongs to our payment processor, NOWPayments. If your app asks who the recipient is, enter NOWPayments.

Check the network. Some cryptocurrencies exist on more than one network — USDT and USDC in particular. Our payment page shows which network to use. If you send on a different network the funds cannot be recovered, by us or by anyone. Always select the same network as the one shown on our payment page before you pay.

The card payment happens entirely in your app, under its own terms. We never receive or store card details. If too little arrives, your order stays open — contact us at info.novaresearchpept@proton.me and we will help you pay the difference.
